Having gone for the first time\, I wasn’t sure what to expect\, and was thrilled to find a cozy\, warm gathering of people at Sally Bowles\, along with some great food. You could see LMS really take pride in this event\, and work hard to create something different. In a busy week of events and intense socialization\, this felt like a little bit of home. DESCRIPTION:The Zurich Pride Parade\nThe peaceful parade at Zurich Pride is the political manifestation of Switzerland’s queer community and their friends. \nAs in previous years\, the Leathermen of Switzerland are marching together with the group Wuffel & Friends. This year\, the Swiss Rubbermen are also officially participating. \nThe thermometer will hit the 30-degree mark on Saturday\, so be sure to pack sun protection and plenty of drinks. To ensure we make it through without fainting\, you don’t need to wear your heavy leather. Carry it in your heart and come as you feel comfortable. You’ll be recognizable as a leather guy when you wave our flag with joy 🙂 \nFlags will be handed out at the starting point\, and as a reward\, LMS will offer every Leathermen of Switzerland a cool drink at Landiwiese. \nShow your flag and march at the Zurich Pride Parade\, united as fetishists and kinksters! \nSchedule\n\nfrom 12:00 nn: line-up\n1:00 p.m.: Speeches\n2:00 pm: Start of the parade\nca. 5:00 pm: End of the parade\n\nMeeting Point\nHelvetiaplatz\, 8004 Zurich \nWe’ll meet from 12:30 pm in front of the Bank restaurant under the shady trees at Helvetiaplatz\, and then we’ll line up at our spot number 66 around 1:45 pm. We expect the event to start around 2:30 pm\, but it could be earlier or later! \nRoute\n \n  \nHelvetiaplatz – Stauffacher – Paradeplatz – General-Guisan-Quai – Mythenquai \nTogether for less waste\nA well-attended demonstration gives a lot of pleasure. However\, many participants also cause a lot of waste. We ask everyone to be active against littering. We expect the event to start around 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm\, but it could be earlier or later! \nRoute\n \n  \nHelvetiaplatz – Stauffacher – Paradeplatz – General-Guisan-Quai – Mythenquai \nTogether for less waste\nA well-attended demonstration gives a lot of pleasure.
